Friends, I meant to return to you before now.
Sadly, I became afflicted with an especially nasty
virus wreaking havoc here in Milwaukee, and was
several days without voice, appetite, or energy.
Much of the time I was in bed having fitful sleep,
inerrupted by dashes to my bathroom.
As of today, however, I am fully functioning again,
so here I am posting my apology to you, my grand
readers. Your rejuvenated Peasant hopes that you all
are well and shall be more successful in fending off
such illnesses as we transition into springtime. I shall
post another commentary piece for you next week.
